On January 3, 2020, the Southern University of Science and Technology and Voir Technology officially signed an industry–university–research agreement, aiming to deepen the “industry–university–research” system and leverage the strengths of university–enterprise collaboration. The two parties reached a cooperation intention in areas such as upstream materials and components for hydrogen energy, jointly researching proton exchange membranes for fuel cells, breaking foreign monopolies, and advancing cooperation in core hydrogen-energy materials.
Under the terms of the cooperation agreement, the two parties will jointly establish an industry–university–research base, and Southern University of Science and Technology will, in connection with this project, dispatch a select group of its graduates to the base.
