Voir® Flexible Medical Sensor Patch Material Solution
Wearable blood glucose monitoring solution: A single-use patch is applied to the posterior aspect of the upper arm, with a sensor embedded in the patch and secured in place by an adhesive film.
The sensor obtains the current glucose reading and trend changes—such as increases or decreases in glucose levels—via a scanning device, eliminating the need for a blood-lancing device and test strips.
Voir® sensor patch material solutions include a pressure-sensitive, breathable backing that enhances comfort when applied to the skin, as well as moisture‑management materials embedded within the sensing chamber to ensure data accuracy.
Voir® pressure-sensitive adhesive films and components are highly flexible, lightweight, and conformable, allowing for thin, discreet application to the skin without disrupting daily life. They are also waterproof and breathable, helping to prevent skin irritation and rashes that can result from prolonged occlusion.
Absorbs sweat, keeps the skin surface dry, enhances patient comfort, and prolongs the wear time of the dressing.
The Voir® polymer-based moisture-management material, VR‑P type desiccant, used in Voir® medical sensor dressings ensures the air within the relatively small detection sealing chamber remains dry for up to two years.
It enhances durability and flexibility, extends service life, and can be molded into any geometric shape.
