Under any complex environmental conditions, the components integrated into a photovoltaic system’s enclosure present significant challenges. To enhance both the external and intrinsic breathability and pressure‑relief capabilities of green energy systems, addressing issues such as waterproofing, dustproofing, air permeability, and UV resistance is critical to the product design.
Currently, photovoltaic new energy has been selected as a key project for Voir Technology. In recent years, Voir Technology has timely advanced its photovoltaic new energy projects, striving to achieve faster and superior cavity pressure balance.

■ Threaded waterproof breather valve, highly efficient pressure equalization and UV resistance
■ Back-adhesive waterproof and breathable membrane, waterproof, breathable, and corrosion-resistant

Voir has continuously broken new ground in waterproof and breathable solutions for outdoor power units, while its photovoltaic new-energy product line has performed even more impressively. Among these, the P2AB20F model waterproof and breathable valve has become one of the most widely used products in the photovoltaic inverter industry.
The waterproof and breathable valve for outdoor photovoltaic power supplies is made from a specialized engineering PPO material or alloy, offering excellent UV resistance to reliably withstand harsh outdoor conditions—such as extreme high and low temperatures, resistance to acids and alkalis, and exposure to salt spray. Inside the housing, an E‑PTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) waterproof and breathable membrane is embedded, enhancing its water‑proofing and air‑permeability while eliminating internal condensation and preventing leaks. The airflow rate adjusts dynamically in response to changes in the pressure differential between the inside and outside of the enclosure, helping to maintain pressure equilibrium.
Currently, Voir’s outdoor photovoltaic new-energy series modules generally achieve an IP68 waterproof protection rating.
