Voir® M671 Explosion-Proof Protection Solution for Battery Packs in Low-Altitude Flying Cars
During operation, the battery pack of a low-altitude aircraft may experience an abnormal increase in internal pressure due to high-power output, frequent charge–discharge cycles, or external environmental changes such as sudden temperature fluctuations and mechanical shocks.
When the pressure reaches a critical threshold, the Voir® M671 battery pack’s explosion‑proof protection system automatically activates, rapidly venting gas.
This prevents battery explosions caused by excessive internal pressure, thereby enhancing the reliability of the battery system and the overall safety of the aircraft.
The Voir® M671 explosion-proof protection solution balances the pressure differential between the inside and outside of highly sealed enclosures, such as battery packs.
Ensure that, under normal operating conditions and in the presence of external environmental variations—such as changes in temperature and altitude—the seal does not fail due to an internal–external pressure differential exceeding its design tolerance.
