Voir® e-PTFE Microfluidic Chip Breathability Solution
Injecting reagents into the micro- and nanoscale narrow channels of a microfluidic chip is extremely challenging, and controlling the injection force is particularly difficult. In medical analytical assays, the pressure within the flow channels typically exceeds 100 kPa.
It requires both high dielectric strength and the ability to precisely control a minute, uniform gas permeation rate—properties that conventional materials cannot adequately meet.
The Voir® MICVCHIP micro-airflow solution is the result of scientific computational research by the Voir team, utilizing a chemically inert, acid- and alkali-resistant microporous e-PTFE material with a pressure resistance exceeding 100 kPa.
By controlling the pore size of the micropores, the steady gas flow rate per unit area per unit time can be regulated.
Voir® MICVCHIP micro‑airflow products are fused onto the surface of the “breathing pores” of the microfluidic chip, enabling stable control of the membrane material flow rate.
Thereby controlling the flow rates of medical reagents in multiple microfluidic channels and providing bidirectional barrier protection against microbial ingress, ensuring the accuracy of analytical results.
