Voir Technology has launched the Voir®DeHum-Def de-icing and defogging solution.

Huizhou, Guangdong, December 20, 2019 — Voir Technology announced the launch of the Voir®DeHum-Def de-icing and anti-fog protection solution. Following preliminary validation tests, the solution’s products can effectively address the issue of reduced display and captured-image quality caused by lens condensation and fogging under various operating conditions.

Voir®DeHum-Def is a solution with a product thickness of only 0.08 mm, designed for installation directly onto lens elements, display panels, and glass surfaces. When the front end of a CCD/CMOS camera lens encounters condensation or fogging due to changing weather conditions or internal operating environments, this solution can rapidly eliminate fog through low‑voltage actuation combined with advanced polymer materials. Developed by Voir, the material used in this solution is ultra‑thin, offers high resolution, and maintains a light transmittance of 90%, making it an ideal choice for lens defogging applications in both display and image‑capture systems.
