Recently, Voir Technology has launched a CMOS image sensor and lens protection solution that has passed a series of tests and validations by sensor manufacturers and end customers, helping CMOS-enabled terminal devices address sealing, dust-proofing, and heat dissipation issues while enhancing product quality.

CMOS image sensors are critical components for capturing images, and their operating environment demands a sealed, dust‑proof design—higher cleanliness yields imaging that more closely approaches the theoretical limit. However, component operation generates heat, and in particular, zoom cameras with dual‑ or multi‑layer optical designs produce additional heat during extension and retraction, which also induces pressure fluctuations. Both this heat and the resulting pressure buildup can significantly impact the CMOS sensor and the lens.
