Voir® SCU launches a fluoropolymer high-flexibility ribbon cable—helping maintain high performance in applications involving continuous high-speed bending and harsh operating conditions.
Release time:2022-12-22
2022.12.16 In Huinan, Voir® SCU officially launched a fluorine (e-PTFE) polymer high-flexibility ribbon cable, typically used in the semiconductor, aerospace, high-temperature combustion chemistry, and advanced quantum computing fields.
Unlike traditional ribbon cables, fluoropolymer cables are manufactured using a fully fluoropolymer molding process from the core to the outer jacket, enabling high‑speed, continuous bending while minimizing wear and maintaining performance under operating conditions.
1. Robust construction with high flexibility ensures stable and reliable performance under prolonged operating conditions, preventing packet loss.
2. Comparison of performance under bending and dynamic conditions: It boasts a longer service life than standard power cables—over 100 times that of round cables—while weighing only one-quarter as much.
3. Significantly saves space, offers faster transmission speeds, and reduces vibration and shock.
4. Excellent insulation; maintains performance even at extreme temperatures; does not outgas, making it suitable for low-vacuum environments.

Why do bit computers also use fluoropolymer high‑flex cables?
· If each bit were transmitted via a rigid cable, there would be no room left to accommodate the dilution refrigerator.
· One bit corresponds to one wire; in the case of multiple bits, optical inspection of the wiring would require substantial human and material resources.
Voir® SCU engineer: “With years of accumulated fluoropolymer technology and breakthroughs in equipment, we have fully mastered the process technology, been the first in China to launch the product, and achieved excellent results in long-term durability testing, thereby breaking the long-standing high-price monopoly and extended delivery times imposed by foreign manufacturers.”
High‑Flex Ribbon Cable (HFRC) is now available in two series comprising four models, with pitch options of 0.50 mm and 0.25 mm, and core conductor sizes of 28 AWG and 26 AWG, offering flexible configuration choices. Custom dimensions are available upon request. To date, three major series of fluoropolymer‑based cables have been launched, all of which have earned strong market recognition.
1. High-flexibility, dust-free drag chain cable HFDC (antistatic: black), suitable for applications in semiconductors, display manufacturing, cleanrooms, automation, and other fields.

2. High‑flexibility flat cables (HFFC), including vacuum‑compatible and non‑vacuum‑compatible variants, for use in semiconductors, microelectronics, medical devices, optical equipment, and other fields.

3. High-flex ribbon cables (HFRC) for applications in semiconductors, avionics, petroleum processing, combustion chemistry, advanced bit‑computing, and other fields.
