Voir Technology has launched an innovative “deoxygenation and humidification” solution based on its self-developed SEDM electrode membrane, which has passed testing by a well-known consumer appliance manufacturer and resulted in the signing of a multi-year cooperative development and supply agreement.

The key to Voir® low‑temperature deoxygenation and humidification technology lies in the SEDM electrode membrane, which electrolyzes atmospheric water vapor into hydrogen ions and oxygen. The hydrogen ions migrate into the chamber and react with oxygen, achieving deoxygenation and humidification. By reducing the oxygen level inside freezers and refrigerators, this process slows down the respiration of food items, preventing the oxidation and degradation of nutrients in fruits and vegetables. At the same time, the combination of high humidity and low oxygen inhibits microbial activity, decelerating spoilage and providing an ideal solution for low‑temperature deoxygenation and humidification in appliances.
