2022.5.23 Huinan, Huizhou, Guangdong — The polymer membrane-based separation solution provided by Voir has been recognized and adopted by a publicly listed hydrogen energy company. Following testing and comparative verification, the FL03 air‑path water‑gas separator from Voir demonstrates a separation efficiency more than 30% higher than that of conventional mechanical water‑gas separators, reaching an impressive 90% separation efficiency.

Compared with traditional mechanical water–gas separators, membrane separators are more compact and offer higher separation efficiency. They are suitable for both the air and hydrogen circuits in hydrogen energy systems and have been validated through low-temperature start-up tests. This represents Voir’s innovative application of membrane materials, marking an iterative upgrade over conventional mechanical separation technologies.
The membrane-based air‑side (VH-FL03) and hydrogen‑side (VH-FL02) separators achieve separation efficiencies of over 90% and 85%, respectively, with a pressure drop of less than 10 kPa at 260 g/s and 87°C.
