Voir New Energy’s explosion-proof product line has added new members: the directional exhaust M378 and M550, as well as the low-voltage, low-cost P650.

On July 5, 2021, Voir Technology launched the metal‑cased M378/M550 and the plastic‑cased P650 explosion-proof valves, adding new members to its new energy explosion-proof series.
In addition to inheriting the reliable protective performance of the new‑energy explosion‑proof valve family, the M378/M550 also features a compact design and rapid opening. Its directional venting capability mitigates the risk of high‑temperature gases scorching surrounding components after an explosion, making it an ideal protective solution for next‑generation battery packs. It has already been deployed in large volumes across premium European‑brand vehicles.

The P650 is a cost-effective plastic explosion-proof valve; its low pressure rating and low cost are its most distinctive features, and it has already been widely adopted in complete vehicles from Japanese brands.
