In response to the challenges of extinguishing automotive battery packs—namely, their difficulty to put out, tendency to reignite, inherent firefighting difficulties, and inconvenient water injection—Voir has designed an effective fire-extinguishing method based on firefighting requirements. The VOIR®FEIN™ water‑injection fire‑extinguishing solution is a simple, pressure‑regulated water‑injection port designed to withstand high temperatures. Under normal operating conditions, it remains concealed and maintains an IP69‑rated seal. In the event of a fire, a fire hose can be quickly aligned with the FEIN port—identified by its extinguishing‑fire symbol—and water injection can be initiated immediately to suppress the blaze.
