Voir has launched the Voir®DeHum™-ADC smart dehumidifier, based on a new electrode material.

In Huizhou, Guangdong, on May 22, Voir Technology’s smart dehumidifier application solution based on the solid-state polymer electrode membrane SEDM has been validated by several well-known manufacturers, and the Voir®DeHum™-ADC smart dehumidifier is set to be launched on the market soon.

Moisture, fog, and condensation are critical factors that affect cabinets, display cases, storage lockers, precision instruments, cultural relics, gold, and other valuable, sensitive items—either by condensing into water and causing short-circuit failures, or by creating excessive humidity that leads to oxidation and mold growth. Currently, conventional dehumidification solutions and materials available on the market face numerous issues and limitations in practical applications, such as:

● Conventional desiccants—low moisture absorption, prone to saturation, and require frequent maintenance;

● Conventional dehumidifiers—do not effectively remove moisture, perform poorly in high-humidity environments, and their fans are prone to drawing in dust.

● Condensation method—requires a complex drainage system; it can dehumidify but cannot eliminate fog.

● Heating method — high power consumption, elevated internal operating temperatures, and limited dehumidification performance.

Voir’s innovative patented product, the Voir®DeHum™-ADC smart dehumidifier, features a core solid-state polymer electrode membrane, SEDM, which can thoroughly eliminate moisture and prevent condensation and fogging. Moreover, this smart dehumidifier is more compact and intelligent than traditional models, capable of intelligently sensing and displaying temperature and humidity levels. When the humidity falls below the set threshold, the device remains in standby mode; once the threshold is exceeded, the Voir®DeHum™-ADC smart dehumidifier swiftly resumes dehumidification, ensuring that the interior of the chamber maintains a relatively constant humidity at all times.
