Voir Technology has launched the next-generation Voir®EventM™ conductive-insulating laminate.

April 28, 2020 — Voir Technology’s PMU Materials Division announced the launch of an innovatively patented product: the next-generation Voir® EventM™ conductive, insulating, waterproof, dustproof, and breathable material.
The new-generation Voir®EventM™ series incorporates laminated composite materials, featuring a surface impedance of 200 Ω and an air permeability of 100 ml/cm²/min at 7 kPa; it meets IP68 protection standards and boasts a thickness of only 0.2 mm. It is suitable for applications in sensors, 5G communications, military‑grade electronics, and flexible circuits.
In certain critical applications, it is essential to ensure that a conductive insulating material with a thickness of 0.2 mm conducts electricity on one side while remaining electrically insulating on the other. A materials engineer at Voir Technology stated: “Based on ePTFE polymer, this next-generation conductive insulating material offers waterproof, dustproof, and breathable properties, meeting diverse design requirements.”
->Voir®EventM™-A1 conductive, waterproof, dustproof, and breathable laminated film material, with one side conductive and the other side insulating.
->Voir®EventM™-Type A2 conductive, waterproof, dustproof, and breathable membrane material with conductive layers on both sides and an insulating intermediate layer.
->Voir®EventM™-B1 membrane material is conductive, waterproof, dustproof, and breathable.
