Formost products, in collaboration with Voir Technology’s PTFE membrane materials, have been launched into the international market.

Recently, Voir Technology’s PTFE membrane materials division supplied Formost with its self-developed SA122 Por-Ac acoustic-permeable membrane, providing three-proof protection—waterproof, dustproof, breathable, and acoustically transparent—for its series of electronic products exported to international markets.

SA122 Acoustic Membrane Material

The SA122 series products are waterproof, sound-permeable membrane materials launched by Voir’s PTFE Membrane Materials Division for Bluetooth speaker electronic devices, serving as a complementary offering to the SA117 sound-permeable membrane for smartphones. Unlike the mesh‑type membranes currently on the market (IP54), the SA122 boasts superior performance, meeting the IP67 protection requirements of Bluetooth speakers and other acoustic devices while maintaining excellent sound transmission.

Voir’s on-site department engineer Zhang pointed out that the SA122 sound‑transmitting material and solution adopted by Formosto have a strong potential to be extended to other product lines. Successful supply is of great significance to Voir: on the one hand, it provides protection and quality assurance for Formosto products, showcasing Voir’s expertise in materials and its unwavering focus; on the other hand, by establishing cooperative relationships with internationally renowned electronics manufacturers such as Japan’s Pioneer, Panasonic, AIWA, SONY, PHILIPS, and Fujitsu, it lays a solid foundation for bringing Voir’s PTFE membrane materials—especially the Por‑Ac sound‑transmitting material—to the global market.

Since its launch, Voir’s Por-Ac polyurethane acoustic material has received a positive market response and has already established partnerships with well-known terminal manufacturers, outsourcing suppliers, and die-cutting plants, including Harman Kardon and Chiyoda.
