When a battery cell experiences thermal runaway, the Voir® energy storage gas‑venting protection system directs the release of smoke and gases, preventing a rapid pressure surge that could trigger a chain reaction. The valves on adjacent battery packs remain locked, containing the gases within a single module and ensuring that other battery packs and electronic components inside the cabinet remain undamaged.
