Most millimeter-wave radar products are mounted outside the vehicle cabin and are subjected to harsh environmental conditions such as wind and rain over extended periods, necessitating exceptional dust‑proof and waterproof protection for millimeter-wave radars and other radar systems.
The Voir® upgraded millimeter-wave radar protection solution, in addition to its original protective performance, maintains stable functionality even under prolonged exposure to high temperatures of 85°C and relative humidity of 85%RH.
The breathable membrane is welded onto the millimeter-wave radar housing, ensuring internal–external pressure balance while facilitating seamless integration with the housing’s design and molding. This approach offers low cost, a simple manufacturing process, reduced design expenses, and compatibility with lean production workflows.
