Voir Technology “upgrades again” with the VOIR® LCPP solution, supporting the next-generation energy liquid-cooling system technology 2.0.

Release time:2023-05-31

Voir Technology’s “further upgrade” of the VOIR® LCPP solution supports the next-generation energy liquid-cooling system technology 2.0, helping manufacturers iterate and upgrade their technologies while enhancing safety and reliability.

1. High-pressure waterproof automatic venting solution VOIR®LCPP-HVENT

During the transport of liquids, liquid‑cooling system piping can generate gas. The accumulated gas creates air resistance within the pipes, reducing system efficiency—increasing energy consumption in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems and lowering cooling‑system performance—and may even lead to leaks.
The VOIR® LCPP-HVENT high-pressure waterproof automatic venting solution can rapidly vent gases, thereby enhancing pipeline operational efficiency. Under normal operating conditions, the internal pressure of the pipeline is maintained at 300–400 kPa; when the pressure exceeds 400 kPa, only gas is vented, with no liquid discharge.

2. Expansion Drainage Scheme VOIR®LCPP-EDV

The liquid-cooling system—whether in a liquid-cooled battery pack or a liquid-cooled container—rapidly removes and clears accumulated condensate under abnormal operating conditions, preventing short circuits and ensuring insulation. When exposed to moisture, the hygroscopic material expands rapidly to several times its original volume, triggering the opening of the designed valve assembly to discharge the liquid; once drainage is complete, the system returns to its initial state.
The VOIR® M626A resettable drain valve has been put into mass production for use in energy‑related liquid cooling systems.

3. VOIR® LCPP-PFD deionization filtration solution

The resin ion-exchange method is used to remove ions such as chloride, sulfate, and ferrous sulfate, thereby achieving filtration and purification. This prevents corrosion of the structure and the risk of material degradation in continuous liquid‑cooling circuits, ensuring the system’s sustained reliability.
The VOIR®VH-GL01 filtration deionizer has been applied in hydrogen energy and lithium‑battery liquid circulation systems.

4. VOIR® LCPP-MAMI Integrated Moisture-Absorbing Injection Molding Solution

In injection-molding-grade materials, a water-absorbing resin of the BR‑P type is incorporated to create an injection-molding‑grade composite. By designing an integrally molded geometry, the outer wall maintains structural strength while the inner wall provides moisture‑absorbing functionality, thereby enabling effective humidity control within the channel.

Voir Technology’s liquid-cooling protection solutions engineer: “With expertise in waterproof, breathable microporous materials, humidity-control materials, and filtration-and-adsorption materials, we can swiftly introduce innovative solution products for energy liquid-cooling systems. Several manufacturers have already adopted the LCPP solution and achieved significant innovative application value, which we are deeply proud of.”
