Voir Technology’s VOIR® LCPP solution supports the iterative upgrade of next-generation energy liquid-cooling system technology.
Release time:2023-04-11
April 10, 2023, Shenzhen: Voir Technology unveiled a next-generation energy liquid-cooling system protection solution, helping manufacturers upgrade their technologies and enhance safety and reliability.
Liquid cooling is currently the dominant solution, offering rapid heat dissipation, excellent thermal uniformity, and straightforward fluid management. In liquid‑cooling systems, the coolant must be electrically insulating to prevent short circuits, and the system requires tight sealing to ensure airtightness while maintaining continuous circulation.
The VOIR® LCPP solution, grounded in materials technology, facilitates the iterative advancement of liquid-cooling systems for energy applications, enhancing both safety and reliability.
1. Expansion Drainage Scheme VOIR®LCPP-EDV
The liquid-cooled battery pack rapidly evacuates and clears accumulated liquid under abnormal operating conditions, preventing short circuits and ensuring insulation. When exposed to water, the hygroscopic material expands quickly to several times its original volume, triggering the opening of the designed valve assembly to discharge the liquid; once draining is complete, it returns to its initial state.
The VOIR® M626 drain valve has been put into mass production for use in energy‑related liquid cooling systems.
2. VOIR® LCPP-PFD deionization filtration solution
The resin ion-exchange method is used to remove ions such as chloride, sulfate, and ferrous sulfate, thereby achieving filtration and purification. This prevents corrosion of structural components and the risk of material degradation in continuous liquid‑cooling circuits, ensuring the system’s sustained reliability.
The VOA® VH-GL01 filtration deionizer has been applied in hydrogen energy and lithium‑battery liquid circulation systems.
3. Moisture-Absorbing Injection Molding Integrated Solution VOIR®LCPP-MAMI
In injection-molding-grade materials, a water-absorbing resin of the BR‑P type is incorporated to form an injection-molding‑grade composite. By designing an integrally molded geometry, the outer wall retains structural strength while the inner wall provides moisture‑absorbing functionality, thereby enabling effective humidity control within the channel.
Voir Technology’s liquid-cooling protection solutions engineer: “With technologies in waterproof and breathable microporous materials, humidity-control materials, and filtration-and-adsorption materials, we can swiftly launch innovative solution products for energy liquid-cooling systems. Several manufacturers have already adopted the LCPP solution, all achieving significant innovative application value, which we are deeply proud of.”
