Voir® Voir Metal EPV explosion-proof technology has been iteratively upgraded to V5, with optimized techniques to reduce the risk of sand and sediment ingress.

Release time:2023-02-21

Recently, Voir has conducted research to mitigate the potential failure risk caused by sediment ingress during the opening and closing of conventional metal EPVs, and has launched the V5 upgraded version of its explosion-proof metal EPV technology.

The Voir® M482 explosion-proof valve retains its original precise explosion‑proof pressure‑relief and venting functions while incorporating optimized technology that significantly reduces the ingress of sand and sediment, thereby lowering the risk of explosion‑proof failure. At the same time, it increases the relief area and enhances the venting rate, and has been widely adopted by leading packaging manufacturers.

Voir’s field engineer stated: “We received customer feedback indicating that, when a vehicle reaches 300,000 kilometers, significant amounts of sediment accumulate inside the metal EPV explosion-proof valve. Voir’s R&D team has taken this very seriously and is actively driving the iterative upgrade of explosion-proof technology, optimizing the design to prevent sediment ingress, reduce the risk of explosion-proof failure, and ensure vehicle safety.”
