Voir® DEHUM-DEF-5040 high-transmittance anti-fog technology solution helps outdoor lens windows enhance display quality.
Release time:2022-12-29
2022.12.29 Shenzhen Voir’s DEHUM has launched a high-transmittance anti-fog film material, helping outdoor lens-based visual devices improve display quality.

Visual devices perceive the external world through a window; under operating conditions, this window is prone to fogging and condensation, which degrades imaging quality and compromises both image capture and display performance. For example, if a surveillance camera lens fogs up, it may fail to produce clear footage, leading to reduced automatic recognition accuracy or increased errors in algorithmic decision‑making.
The VOIR® DEHUM-DEF-5040 solution effectively addresses the issue of reduced display and image‑capture quality caused by lens condensation and fogging under various operating conditions. Applied as a high‑transmittance anti‑fog film to the lens, it utilizes low‑voltage heating to rapidly eliminate fog and prevent condensation when exposed to cold weather or temperature fluctuations—without compromising light transmission—thereby enhancing both image capture and display performance. VOIR® DEHUM-DEF-5040
1. Light transmittance: >82%
2. Product resistance: <30 Ω
3. Power consumption: <3W @ 50*40mm
4. It employs an ultra-thin film layer, with a thickness of only 0.15 mm.
5. Typical Customer Bulk Application Cases
6. The material exhibits excellent weather resistance and maintains high reliability over 1,200 hours under extreme operating conditions.
7. Simple installation, replacing traditional ITO glass solutions.
The conventional hydrophilic‑coated glass approach requires that the sealed cavity remain free of dust and volatile contaminants, and the cost of treating the cavity to accommodate the hydrophilic coating can be several times its own price.
The Voir® DEHUM-DEF-5040 solution offers significant advantages in both anti-fogging performance and overall application cost. Conventional ITO glass, with its densely distributed indium tin oxide layer, causes refractive distortion when light passes through, thereby interfering with the normal transmission of optical signals.
Typically used in high-end cameras, road surveillance systems, and other applications that require visual monitoring through a window or viewport.
Voir® DEHUM-DEF-5040 has engineering and technical personnel in both East China and South China. East China: Mr. Ning, 13927336784; South China: Ms. Xue, 13927334825.
