Voir’s SCU Semiconductor Materials Division has partnered with a renowned new-energy lithium equipment manufacturer to launch an electrolyte-resistant, dust-free drag chain solution.

The electrolyte is precisely injected into the battery cell using an electrolyte‑filling machine. In conventional energy chains, prolonged movement and bending during operation can cause abrasion between the cables, hoses, and the chain itself, generating dust. Additionally, the organic compounds and fluorides released by electrolyte evaporation—particularly strong F‑containing acids—can corrode the drive modules and the energy chain when exposed to air. Voir® CABLE‑POD™, an electrolyte‑resistant, dust‑free energy chain, addresses these challenges through an optimized PTFE material formulation. Its main body is designed for long‑term use across a temperature range of +250°C to −180°C, while its high‑quality, smooth Teflon‑wrapped shielding layer protects both cables and hoses, helping to resist corrosive gases and prevent the buildup of frictional charges and voltage.
