Voir® H2 by Voir has launched a high-efficiency water-gas separation solution.

Release time:2022-01-08

Voir®H2, based on ePTFE polymer membrane material, has launched a high-efficiency Voir®H2 water–gas separator, providing hydrogen energy system manufacturers with a highly efficient water–gas separation device.

In a fuel cell system, the water and hydrogen generated by excess electrochemical reactions are mostly vented to the atmosphere; however, some of these species can back-diffuse through the proton exchange membrane to the anode and be expelled from the stack. To recover and recycle the hydrogen, a high-efficiency water–gas separator is installed at the anode outlet, enabling the separated hydrogen to be recirculated back into the stack for further reaction.
The Voir® H2 water–gas separator delivers superior separation performance that surpasses that of conventional mechanical separators, addressing the challenge of separation efficiency through structural optimization and advanced material technologies.
1. Small size, simple design, and conducive to compact, space-efficient layouts.
2. Independent R&D, innovation and creation
3. Operating temperature: -40~105℃
4. Protection Rating: IP67
5. Maintenance interval: 3 years or 100,000 kilometers
Voir’s hydrogen energy engineer said, “The Voir® H2 water–gas separator incorporates a proprietary ePTFE separation membrane developed in-house. Voir has been specializing in ePTFE materials for 12 years, and these materials offer reliable performance and guaranteed longevity.”
