Voir launches an innovative dehumidification solution for LED car lights.

In recent years, the automotive industry has continued to advance toward electrification, Traditional halogen lamps generate a high amount of heat, LED Automotive lighting is increasingly becoming a trend. Compared with halogen lamps, LED headlights are energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, elegantly designed, and strikingly stylish—yet they come with their own set of challenges.
LED Car lights, when exposed outdoors for extended periods, are prone to fogging under temperature fluctuations or excessive air humidity. This not only detracts from their appearance but also compromises lighting performance and reduces their service life. Voir has introduced an innovative LED car light dehumidification solution to help manufacturers address condensation issues.
The Voir® LED headlight dehumidification solution employs a self-developed, cutting-edge electrode‑membrane technology that directly electrolyzes and removes moisture from the air. This active dehumidification process is irreversible, maintaining a consistently dry environment inside the headlight and preventing condensation. The solution also incorporates an integrated waterproof, breathable membrane to protect against the ingress of dust, particulates, and liquids.
Voir’s engineer said, “Voir® solid-state polymer electrode membrane SEDM exhibits high proton (H+) permeability while effectively blocking other gases, moisture, and particulates. It offers electrochemical dehumidification, condensation inhibition, and waterproof and dustproof capabilities, and has been recognized by numerous industry-leading customers.”
