On June 8, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., the FCVC2021 Shanghai Hydrogen Energy Exhibition grandly opened at the Shanghai Auto Show Center. The exhibition venue was bustling with activity, and Voir’s innovative hydrogen energy solutions and products drew a large number of visitors.

Voir Hydrogen Energy not only brought its latest Voir® H2 hydrogen humidifier for fuel cells, but also showcased protective solutions such as PEM proton exchange membrane base films, N-INF humidity-control materials, EPV hydrogen venting explosion-proof systems, PTV oil-resistant series, and hydrogen sensor protective films, drawing widespread attention.
Voir® H2 Hydrogen-Powered Humidifier
The core material of the hydrogen-powered humidifier is the hydrophilic hollow fiber membrane (EHHT), which was entirely developed in-house by Voir. This material’s low resistance and high permeability ensure reduced air pressure drop and stable water vapor transmission rates, enabling thorough hydration of the proton exchange membrane while maintaining an appropriate temperature, thereby enhancing proton transport and reaction efficiency. After water vapor is absorbed by the walls of the hydrophilic hollow fiber membrane, it is transported into the gas phase in the form of steam, with the transport process driven by the partial pressure difference of water vapor on either side of the membrane wall.

Voir® H2 proton exchange membrane base film
e-PTFE used in proton exchange membranes exhibits selective permeability, maintaining an exceptionally high proton (H⁺) conductivity while providing the requisite barrier properties against other gases, electrons, water molecules, and particulates. As a core constituent of the membrane electrode assembly (MEA) in proton exchange membrane fuel cells, it plays a pivotal role in determining the overall performance and service life of hydrogen fuel cells.

Voir® H2 N-INF Fuel Cell Stack Humidity Control Solution
The INF anti‑condensation solution employs a proprietary MSRM polymer‑based moisture‑control material, leveraging its ability to absorb moisture in high‑humidity environments and release it in low‑humidity conditions to regulate the humidity within the fuel cell stack. This maintains optimal temperature and humidity levels inside the stack, effectively preventing condensation. By mitigating short‑circuit risks and potential hazards, it also helps reduce after‑sales service costs. The material is flame‑retardant and environmentally friendly, meeting the industry standards for the new‑energy vehicle sector.
