Voir has recently launched a new type of flame-arresting and pressure-relief device that achieves an extremely high relief flow rate while completely containing open flames within the enclosure. Currently, flame-arresting devices can only perform single-stage flame arrestment with low flow rates, failing to relieve the pressure inside the enclosure, leaving it still subjected to excessive pressure.

Voir’s M0824X fire‑blocking and pressure‑relief device for thermal runaway in battery cells addresses the challenges of flame ejection and inadequate pressure relief, integrating multiple functions into a single unit.
